You’re Making the Ministry of Adoption Possible
Whenever a woman who is facing a crisis pregnancy decides not to go through with an abortion, we praise God. But it doesn’t stop there. After that first difficult decision is made to continue a pregnancy, there’s another hard decision to be made: to parent or make an adoption plan.
Through your support, you enable the team at Prestonwood Pregnancy Center to love on moms who decide to parent as well as moms who make an adoption plan. As for the moms who decide adoption is the best choice for them, we have relationships with Bible-based adoption agencies, and they regularly send staff to work out of our centers. This way, in that moment when a client chooses adoption, we can immediately connect her with one of our partner agencies. We also offer free counseling to anyone who is considering adoption.
“One of the first things I did when I started at the center was vet adoption agencies,” shares Leanne Jamieson, Executive Director of Prestonwood Pregnancy Center. “I wanted these women in crisis to be able to talk to a real person in real time, not just read a pamphlet. The adoption process is relational, not transactional.”
