Have You had an Ultrasound to Ensure Your Pregnancy is Viable?

Ultrasound Benefits

Did you know that many pregnancies end early in miscarriage?

According to the March of Dimes, as many as 50% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage — most often before a woman misses a menstrual period or even knows she is pregnant. About 15-25% of recognized pregnancies will end in a miscarriage. More than 80% of miscarriages occur within the first three months of pregnancy. (1)

Additionally, some pregnancies will develop in one of the tubes leading from the ovaries to the uterus. This is called an ectopic pregnancy and if not discovered can be life-threatening for the woman. The tube will rupture and the woman can die from loss of blood if she does not receive immediate treatment.

Even if you have taken a pregnancy test, your pregnancy may not be viable. Viability means that a pregnancy is capable of developing under normal conditions.

Please contact us at the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center today to book your no-cost ultrasound. An ultrasound can confirm if a pregnancy is developing normally in a uterus and determine how far along you are. We can then discuss your options with you in a safe and nonjudgmental atmosphere.
