Classes and Rewards

Rewards Program

For every in-person class that you attend, you will earn $15 credit. For every online class, you will earn $5 credit.
If you want to earn double the rewards for a class, have another adult attend the class with you! You may only have one guest to earn double rewards and you must include their information in your registration. If you have already attended a specific class before, you will only receive rewards for the first time you attend. To redeem your rewards, call 972-428-4700 and schedule an appointment to shop at the Prestonwood Family Resource Center.

Additional Information

Please keep in mind that to respect your time, classes will start promptly at the time they are scheduled. Late arrivals (more than 15 minutes late) will not receive credit for attending.

Reading to Baby – Online

This class is designed to instill confidence in moms to cultivate a love of reading to their babies. Moms can have conversations with their little ones without it feeling awkward and it also builds a strong parent child bond. Online Fridays: October 14th, November 11th, December 9th, January 13th

Growing in Resilience – Southwest

Stress happens to us all but how we respond to it makes the difference. Let’s walk through this class together and you will be provided tips to better handle life situations. Time: Friday November 11th 2pm    

Positive Self Image – Online

The goal of this class is to help learners understand how self-image impacts our daily life decisions and what it means to have a positive self-image. The session is interactive with self-reflection and writing exercises. Online Saturdays: October 15th, November 12th, December 10th, January 14th

Stress Management in the Family – Resource Center

Stress is a state of mental or emotional strain which can be experienced by both adults and children. It can be manifested at any given time in an individual or family unit. Stress needs to be managed, and you can learn ways in this class to do just that. In Person Mondays: October 10th, November 14th, December 12th

Basic Finances Session 3: Spending Plan – Resource Center

Learn about the basics of savings, spending, and debt, and how you can wisely incorporate financial strategies into your day-to-day life. This three session class is great for anyone, whether you have children to prepare for or are just wanting to learn more. It will also cover benefits of prayer and how to incorporate biblical principles into your finances. Sleep Baby Safety – Southwest

Baby sleep safety is vitally important. Every year in the United States, approximately 3500 infants die of sleep-related infant deaths. The reality is many of these accidents can be prevented. For this reason, we invite you to learn how to create and maintain a safe space for your baby. Time: Tuesday November 15th 2pm 

Car Seat Safety – Resource Center

This class is taught by a Certified National Child Passenger Safety Technician. CPS technicians keep up to date on the latest technical information about child passenger safety through seminars and other continuing education opportunities. This class will benefit those who have children of any age that want to ensure their child is kept safe, in case of an accident, by properly using child restraint systems and safety belts. Single & Dating – Southwest

Come learn how to set healthy dating boundaries and identify red flags. This class will equip you to make wise decisions as well as learn how to love yourself in the process. Lastly, evaluate which relationships are best for not only you but for your child.

The Dad Difference – Online

This class is specifically geared for new dads who want to step-up and be difference makers within their growing family. Participants will hear a wealth of wisdom and applicable truths that will help them become better men. You will be encouraged and challenged to grow yourself and to achieve the at dad difference. Beginning to Birth – Online

Beginning to Birth: The goal of this class is to help us both understand and visualize what is happening in pregnancy; from the moment of conception to birth.
