You’re Part of a Movement to Change History!
When you choose to be part of Prestonwood Pregnancy Center through your prayers and gifts, you’re not just investing in a local ministry. You’re part of a movement to change history – as together we press ahead toward the day when abortion is not just unattainable but unthinkable.
That’s why we’re so excited about new doors that are opening to make a greater impact across the U.S.!
Over these 30 of ministry, God has grown Prestonwood Pregnancy Center and taught us so much along the way. And as Scripture says in Luke 12:48 (ESV)…
“Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required…”
So now is the time to share what God has taught us and help ignite new, lifesaving ministries in other cities.
That’s exactly what’s happening with Warren Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia.
For the last twelve years, David McKinley has been pastor at Warren Baptist – but previously he was here in Dallas serving alongside Pastor Jack Graham at Prestonwood Baptist Church. Together, David and Jack heard and obeyed God’s call to set up Prestonwood Pregnancy Center back in 1991.
Now David has asked for our collaboration in setting up a new pregnancy center to serve Augusta and the surrounding area.
“The knowledge, encouragement, and support of the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center staff proved invaluable in the planning, establishment, and launching of Hope Women’s Center of the CSRA” says David. “Prestonwood Pregnancy Center continues to embody the essence of Christ-like compassion and love, not only for the women they serve in their community, but for those around the country who are in the fight for life along with them.”
Please pray that this collaboration – and others like it – will flourish and multiply. Other pregnancy centers across the country are reaching out to Prestonwood for help, advice and guidance. It’s so exciting to see how these opportunities unfold so that together we can gain more ground in the fight for life.
Leanne puts it this way: “If I want abortion to one day not just be unattainable but unthinkable, then it’s going to require pregnancy centers so accessible that when a woman finds herself in a crisis pregnancy, she knows straight where to come.”
Thanks to friends like you, that’s true for thousands and thousands of women in Dallas through Prestonwood Pregnancy Center. And through new mentoring and traning of other centers, it’ll also be true for women across the country!
As well as our growing collaborations with other centers across the U.S., exciting plans are under way for Prestonwood to open a third pregnancy center within the Dallas area. Please pray for God’s blessing on this new venture and for wisdom in choosing the right location. Watch this space for more news in the coming months!
