Parenting Education and Support

If you choose to parent, our education programs will equip you with tools to help you and provide you with baby clothes, equipment, diapers, and more.

In addition to our class schedule, Prestonwood Pregnancy Center can help you locate information regarding insurance, housing, baby items, and medical care as well as connect you with other community resources.

Richardson Class Schedule

Breastfeeding 101

Find answers to all your breastfeeding questions in this class while learning how easy it can be to successfully breastfeed your new baby.

Mondays: December 17th, January 28th, February 25th, March 25th
Time: 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Childbirth Education

Come learn what happens in labor, when you should go to the hospital, and relaxation and breathing techniques to use in labor and delivery. This class will also cover post-partum care and newborn care, and is for women who are 25-40 weeks pregnant.

Wednesdays: January 9th – January 30th; March 6th – March 27th
Time: 10:30am to 12:00pm

Engage Parenting

This class offers practical ideas and positive encouragement for parents of all ages. We discuss topics such as child development, discipline, communication, emotional health, nutrition and finances. Free dinner and assistance with children is available. Certificates will be given for completing eight classes.

Thursdays: December 13th, January 10th, February 14th, March 14th  
Time: 6:30pm to 8:00pm


Have any questions about what to eat during your pregnancy, after your pregnancy, or what to feed your children? This class will cover a variety of topics that all relate back to nutrition throughout and after your pregnancy!

  • January 24th – Your Best You With Powerful Nutrients: Your body needs many nutrients but there are certain ones that are important. Join us and find out which ones bring out the best you, for you and your baby. 
  • February 28th – Love the Sun ….and Your Vitamin D: Love is in the air. But what does the sun have to do with it? Join us for a special edition of why our body needs Vitamin D to be complete.
  • March 28th – Follow the Rainbow with Fruits and Vegetables: Fruits and Vegetables are like a rainbow, many different colors. Join us to learn about 5-A-Day, and take home tips and recipes to eat more in different ways.

Pump for the Bump: Fitness for the Modern Momma

This is a fitness class that is geared towards prenatal, postpartum, and Momma empowerment! Each week will be guided in a short self-empowerment exercise followed by movements that can be completed at home.

Ready to Read

Come take advantage of the two experienced Moms that can train you how to teach your baby and toddlers to read and socially develop. These are proven methods of teaching any child how to read and add with the simplest of games and fun while interacting with mom or any care giver. Bring your kiddos ages birth to 5 years of age.

Refined: Miscarriage Support Group

Looking for an infertility or miscarriage, infant and pregnancy loss support group? Searching for a community that will encourage you and walk with you on your grief journey? If you are, then you’ve found a home here with us! 

Welcome to Refined! A monthly connection meeting held the first Thursday of every month. Focused on bringing women together who are experiencing infertility or loss. A safe environment designed to support and uplift you. All are welcome and we have a seat for you!

Seasons of Stress

You may be in a tough season of your life, but there is no need to struggle alone! If you would like to learn a simple, convenient approach to stress management, then you have come to the right place! These lessons are coming straight from the online course the Unkinked Primer class. This online course is offered free to all of our clients as well as monthly we will have a free workshop over one of the lessons.
