Growth.
That’s the word I’d use to describe what I see when I look at this work we share.
Growth in Google searches. Growth in call center volume. Growth in client visits. Growth in little lives rescued. Growth in lives saved for eternity!
Yet I know this isn’t ultimately our doing. It’s the Lord’s.
I’m reminded of Paul’s words in his first letter to the church in Corinth…
“What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth” (1 Cor. 3:5-7).
Yes, we work. We serve. We plan. We steward time and resources. Yet it’s God who gives the growth!
As you’ve read the pages of this edition of Empowering Life, I pray you’re encouraged to see how God is using what you’re “planting” and “watering.” Whether it’s been to provide Client Shop Days, make our new call center a reality, or to provide hurting clients with a godly licensed counselor, your gifts and prayers are at work.
And lives are being forever changed.
So thank you once again for centering your love and care on so many when they need it most. I’m deeply grateful for you, and I look forward to seeing God bless the fruit of your investment in the days to come.
Blessings,
